Vedic Village Resorts is really ultimate hospitality resort. We are from Andhra Pradesh, India and had lovely time at Vedic. Pick up from railway station and 3 days stay was perfect. Extremely personal service and delicious food. My children liked speed boating. Organised a trip to Guruvayur temple. Totally silent and calm area. Interesting to seen local fishing by fisherman in the morning. We had memorable stay and i promise Vedic will do everything for your stay.

Onam festival at Vedic (Kerala)
Our club (Architectures Club of Cochin) members had a family get together at Vedic during Onam festival. We were about 30 persons including children. Really, all of us had nice time at Vedic starting from flower decoration during Onam festival, children could play in nice pool. Service was excellent and delicious food. It was a memorable event for all of us. Very ideal and compact resort which maintained very nicely. Having a good nature beauty.

Kochi Muziris Biennale (Vedic Village Resorts)

A new Indian biennale will make its debut in this coastal state.
Last year India hosted its first pavilion at the Venice Biennale. This year the country inaugurates a biennale of its own. To be held in the southwestern state of Kerala, the Kochi-Muziris Biennale will feature contemporary painting, film, sculpture, installations, new media and performances by Indian and international artists. Most of the action will unfold in the colonial city of Kochi, whose contemporary art scene already offers more than a dozen venues, from the two-year-old David Hall — a 1695 Dutch colonial mansion — to the longstanding Kashi Art Café, a restaurant-gallery-garden-cafe. To host the events, the city’s 19th-century Durbar Hall and other old buildings are getting top-to-bottom face-lifts.
But the most remarkable historical reclamation project is happening in the biennale’s other Kerala site, Muziris. A fabled ancient port that traded spices and silk with Egypt and Greece two millennia ago, Muziris mysteriously vanished sometime after the fall of Rome. Archaeologists have recently located and started to excavate the vanished settlement, which opened to tourists this year. The biennale’s start date is Dec. 12, 2012, or 12/12/12. SETH SHERWOOD

we stayed for 3 nights at Vedic, beautiful views and accomodation, enhanced by the incredibly pretty Christmas lights! The service was fantastic as was the food. Our young boys (age 2 and 4) had a great time chatting and playing with the staff who were extremely warm and helpful. You can walk out of Vedic village and right into the very friendly backwater village. we met 2 lovely boys who showed us around and made us very welcome and even invited our 4 year old to a game of cricket which was the highlight of his trip.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool is also lovely. How relaxing lying in a hammock watching the sunset at the edge of the backwaters. We would like to thank the staff and we will definately be returning..

By far the most enjoyable part of our family trip to India! The resort was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Staff were very friendly and ever obliging with their 'can do' attitude making our stay very comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food, extremely delicious! The resort has beautiful views over the water, and the sunsets were perfect to enjoy sundowners by the waterside.
All requests were met without hesitation!
Thank you Vedic Village and especially Joe for providing us with an extremely wonderful experience which we will remember always!

We have just returned from our second visit to the vedic village,as we expected the high standards have been maintained by all of the staff.A great place to relax and unwind,in no time at all we felt completely at home.the food and the service are of the highest standard, any wishes that you may have are dealt with in a happy and professional manner.if you are looking for some complete relaxation in a very scenic location then this is the place for you.

Highly personal attention resort
I just wanted to compliment the management of Vedic for excellent personal attention, delicious food, relaxing nature ambience, clean room and heart felt dealing by all the staffs. Staffs go as per your requirement and I do not find anything that they will refuse your fair demands. It is very interesting the way they informed us about various activities such boating, massage, sight seeing etc. Even though I could not meet its owner Sabu Joseph, front office staffs Nijith and Lijo were extremely attentive to your daily requirements. Chef is perfect in Kerala dishes and we enjoyed most of the foods during our 4 days stay at Vedic. Well done Vedic. Will recommend you without any hesitation.
